Position: Senior Project Manager (CA)

Overview:

We seek a Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) with experience in the due diligence industry supervising RAs and PEs (field observers) who are performing Property Condition Reports (PCA).


Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include the technical management of Field Observers in completion of a variety of real estate due diligence services to evaluate or monitor the property conditions. Monitors, prioritizes, and tracks work progress and provides quality control reviews and technical editing of A&E reports.

  • Coordinates and directs staff assigned to projects on a project by project basis. Reviews and evaluates work progress, and identifies and resolves problems. Provides technical direction and guidance to Field Observers.
  • Reviews and technically edits reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality.
  • Prepares report for on-time delivery to client with accompanying correspondence.
  • Communicates with clients and management to discuss and develop solutions to recognized architecture and engineering concerns.
  • Manages portfolios including client and staff meetings, communications with client and management of work for portfolio properties.
  • Acts as Technical Lead, providing guidance and technical direction for assigned regional clients and protocols.
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying new and existing legislation; anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary action.
  • Upholds industry and company standards by providing guidance on technical issues.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service through timely response and proactive solutions to clients needs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Professional registration as either a "Registered Architect" or a "Professional Engineer"
  • Experience with HUD strongly desired.
  • Current HUD MAP Training Certificate desired.
  • 10 years experience.   A minimum of 5 years experience performing property condition assessment and supervisory experience desired.  
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
  • A demonstrable track record of excellent time management skills combined with the capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential. 
  • The ability to do some limited domestic travel (day trips) is important.
