Position: Senior Project Manager (PMO)
Location: White Plains, NY

Overview:

IVI is seeking to fill a senior level position within the firm’s Project Management Oversight Department.

This department focuses on providing what is best characterized as owner’s representation services on behalf of: owners, both corporate and private; private equity placement; and institutional equity investors and mortgagees.  Projects consist of both base-building and tenant improvement work with assets consisting of high-rise multi-family, office, retail, and hospitality and direct costs ranging from $50MM to $5B.


Responsibilities:
  • Consult clients on mitigating construction risks (costs, scheduling, and delivery method) and the use of bonding or Subguard;
  • Have a high level of client contact complete with proposal preparation;
  • Review and consult on agreements (construction, design, and building loan) and construction scheduling;
  • Analyze construction budgets and schedules; and
  • Analyze contractors’ requisitions for payment.

Requirements:
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer license desired;
  • BA degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years related experience;
  • Technically savvy with a thorough understanding of design and commercial construction;
  • Knowledge or project finance;
  • Complete familiarity with the entitlement process (ZBA, planning boards, permitting, etc.);
  • Construction and program management experience; and
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and oral.
