East River Plaza is a 5-story, 2-building retail shopping center, which is the home of Target, Costco and Best Buy. The Center contains 1,365,000 SFG and a 1,248-space garage. The project is bordered on the west by Pleasant Avenue, on the north by East 119th Street, on the east by the FDR Drive, and on the south by East 116th Street.
The Developer is joint venture of Forest City Ratner Companies and Blumenfeld Development Group, Ltd. with Greenberg Farrow as Architect and RC Dolner, LLC as Construction Manager. Construction began October 2006 and the grand opening occurred in July 2010.
IVI was retained as construction consultant. IVI provided construction cost control, review of contract drawings and specifications, and building loan documents. While under construction, IVI was providing payment requisition disbursement control services and confirming general compliance of construction with the project documents.
